Hands down this is our most favorite dinnerware that we have ever come across and it is made by a local artisan in Pope Valley just northeast of us. The clay is formulated to reflect the variegated granite stone of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. The clay is strong and durable and Richard Carter is known for his kilns that gives each piece a very unique finish that is also consistent throughout the line. The custom smokey white glaze with a matte finish gives it that” je ne sais quoi” look.
